CYKELBYTE

Richmond’s FIRST E-Bike Swap Meet at Kul Wheels

___________________________________________

HOW IT WORKS

First come, first served. Anyone can buy items! You do not have to have items in the Swap Meet to shop! Items are sold AS-IS unless noted on the tag.

FOR BUYERS

Sunday August 10th from 9am to 5pm

What items will be at the sale?
We really don’t know since this is the first ever Cykelbyte e-bike swap meet. We hope to have a range of e-bikes PLUS apparel, accessories, parts, wheels, tires, vehicle racks, child carriers, bike trailers and more!

Is there any warranty/guarantee on items at the sale?
Most items will be sold as-is. There will be some deeply discounted items sold by Kul Wheels with limited warranties. But there are no returns or exchanges on any items sold at this event.

What forms of payment will be accepted?
Only Cash or credit/debit cards will be accepted as payment. Receipts will be emailed or texted at the time of the sale.

What if I have more questions?
Stop by the shop, give us a call (804-205-3452) or send an email ([email protected])

How do I put my item(s) in the Swap Meet?

Fill out THIS ONLINE SUBMISSION FORM and bring the item(s) to the shop starting Thursday Aug 7th through  Saturday Aug 9th. We can help you price your items. Thoughts on pricing…How will you feel if it doesn’t sell? If you would feel okay about picking the item up, price it higher. If you really want the item gone and want some credit for it, price it low. Most used items should be priced at 25%-50% of the original price. Please allow time for our staff to check in your item(s), confirm the price and tag them BEFORE you leave the store.

How do I know if my item(s) sold?

We plan to send an email in the evening hours after the sale on Aug 10th to inform you if your item(s) sold. But you are responsible for calling the shop on Monday Aug 11th, if you do not receive an email.

How do I get paid if my item sells?

You have two options for disbursement but your option must be selected at time of drop-off.

1. You receive 100% of the funds as a store credit to use within one year (code will be sent to you via email by August 15th)

                 2. You receive a check for 80% of the total amount sold. (The remaining 20% will be retained to help defer event costs.) You can pick up the check during shop hours beginning August 15th.

What if my item doesn’t sell?
If you do not receive an email informing you that your item sold, you are responsible for calling the shop on Monday Aug 11th. You have until Tuesday at 1PM to pick up your stuff. Items not picked up by that time will be discarded or donated to the Richmond Cycling Corps, OAR of Richmond or to the Rag & Bones Bicycle Cooperative.

Do I have to be at the sale if I’m selling something?
No, the Kul Wheels staff will take care of everything once you drop your item(s) off. The item(s) will be sold anonymously for you.
