Meet: 16 Nicholson St (Sapporo’s back Parking Lot)

Ride Time: 1:30PM

We plan to ride from the Sapporo back parking lot to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Sculpture Garden for a quick bathroom break. From there we’ll head out to Shyndigz Bakery & Cafe for a sweets stop and then we’ll ride back to Sapporo.

The ride’s terrain will be mostly flat and will be approximately 12 miles round trip.

We’ll ride on the Virginia Capital Trail, some city streets including a protected bike road and the city’s first bicycle boulevard.

All bicycles welcome but all riders must register for this free group ride.

Choose from 50-mile, 30-mile or 10-mile scenic routes beginning and ending at Final Gravity Brewing Co., winding through the picturesque Ashland-area countryside with a rest stop in downtown Ashland.

Final Gravity Brewing Co. will once again host the event and pour the official Go Forward Pilsner, brewed specially for the occasion — with a portion of proceeds supporting Forward Foundation.

The first 100 adult riders will receive a complimentary lunch + beverage voucher.

Kul Wheels opening day was Oct 1, 2016, the Virginia Capital Trail’s 1st birthday. We shared our secret to FUN — riding an ebike — with dozens of folks that day and thousands more since then!

We’ll have a test route set up in Sapporo’s Williamsburg Road Parking lot for FREE test rides on Commuter e-bikes, Fat Tire e-bikes, e-Mountain Bikes, e-Cruiser bikes, Foldable e-bikes, e-Cargo bikes and plenty of cake!
